About Me
I'm Jason Arthur,
a freelance designer.
I am an award-winning multimedia professional with advertising, publishing, animation, design and illustration experience. I have an expert
level of industry standard software such as Adobe Creative Suit. Specializing in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat. In multi-media
software, I am familiar with Powerpoint, Keynote, and After Effects. I also have a solid understanding of HTML, CSS and Javascript.
I have piloted DDB’s $5.2 million integrated production facility for over five years. During this time at DDB, I managed a team of graphic design
professionals, such as front end and back end developers, as well a quality control team, layout artists, and animators. As a consultant and production
advisor, I collaborated and consulted creative, account, and production teams on such projects as websites, email campaigns, interactive sales aids,
print ads, catalogs, brochures, branding guides, outdoor billboards, and new business presentations. Some of the clients that I have been trusted with are Merck,
Ely Lilly, Johnson & Johnson, Exxon Mobil, Subaru, Volkswagen, General Motors, Hertz, United Technologies, and Philips.
Services that I provide
Creative Direction
As a creative, I bring my award winning experience and vision to every project. From logo design and brand identity, to multi-media campaigns, I have always enjoyed the challenge of converting grey matter into art matter.
Team Work
It has been my experience that a project works best when everyone is a part of the team. Clear communications and a positive perspective helps.
Practical Production
At the end of the day, once all creative ideas are in and the best idea is moving forward. If the idea can't be produced in a timely fashion then its a bit impractical. I offer practical solutions to creative ideas, that make good practical sense.

Summer School Promo Animation

Concept Poster Design
I designed and illustrated this concept poster for an exhibit of the great designer Saul Bass. The intention for this poster was to be an exhibit at the Guggenheim Museum. I based this poster on his quote "I only want to create beautiful things, even if nobody cares". It was truly enjoyable to conceptualize an exhibit based on his life's work. I consider Saul Bass to be one of the most influential, visual communicators of our world.
